Sweet potato fries with cinnamon and paprika

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

These sweet potato fries are so addictive… Funny thing is, I didn’t like sweet potatoes in the beginning at all and now they are definitively one of my favourite foods.  I make these sweet potato fries at least once a week! These sweet potato fries are so delicious, a healthy vegetables side that can complement many types of meals. As I’m not a fan of fried food I make these in the oven. Don’t be thrown by the cinnamon and paprika, they make an incredible combination and goes so well with the sweetness of the potato.

Ingredients:

2 sweet potatoes

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp cinnamon

salt

4-6 tbsp extra virgin olive oil ( depending on the size of the sweet potato)

Method:

  • Preheat the oven to 190 degrees,
  • Wash and dry the sweet potato and chop into wedges.
  • Add the cut sweet potatatos to a bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Toss everything together until the sweet potatoes are well coated.
  • Place the sweet potatoes on a tray and cook for about 25-30 minutes.
  • Serve hot!

  1. Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog 🙂
Sweet potatoes are amazing – I only ‘discovered’ them in the last year! I’ve yet to master baking desserts with them but fries or roasted are definitely a favourite.

  2. Love these! Do you mind if I use this one on my blog? I was also thinking of sharing the zucchini fritters! Your food looks so yummy! And it would mean a lot to me if you featured one of my recipes in a new post for your blog too?
I also adore sweet potato fries, they’re so much nicer than normal potato! I think a little cumin on them is delicious too x
    hope to hear from you!
