Avocado & Banana chocolate mousse

I love taking a traditional recipe and creating a healthier version. This healthy chocolate mousse is a excellent vegan dessert you can throw together in no time. The main three ingredients of this chocolate mousse are banana, avocado and cacao powder.I’ve been a fan of avocado mousse for a long time. Recently, I’ve started adding bananas, which together with avocado creates the creamiest consistence. This mousse is loaded with antioxidant and important nutrients.  Avocado provide nearly 20 essential nutrients, including fiber, potassium, Vitamin E and B-vitamins. While bananas are a good source of Vitamin C, Dietary fiber, Manganese, Potassium and a very good source of Vitamin B6.  I like serve this chocolate mouse topped with pineapple or fresh  berries.

Ingredients: ( Serves 2).

1 avocado

2 bananas (ripe)

5 large medjool dates

3 tsps- cacoa powder.

1-2 tsps marble syrup (or honey).

4 tsps almond milk

Pitt the dates.

Mixed all the ingredients in a blender.

Put the mouse in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

Keep refrigerated to ready to serve.

I hope you love this chocolate mouse as much as I do.

  1. Oooooh, what a great dessert recipe! Avocados supposedly don’t have a super distinct flavor, but I’ve only tried it once and it was pretty good! I’ll have to try it again eventually!
